CWU

“the CWU is pleased to be associated with this initiative by Welsh Labour AM’s. In these times of political uncertainty, the historic link between trade unions and the Labour Party is all the more important for our movement and this website is testament to those sentiments.”

Unison

“UNISON Cymru/Wales welcomes the launch of this new website. UNISON is proud of the partnership work we undertake with members of the Labour Assembly group. This website will be an excellent tool in highlighting the important work we do to champion public services and public sector workers in Wales.”

GMB

The Launch of the Welsh Assembly Trade Union Group website is a fantastic step forward and one that reaffirms the partnership arrangements and close working relationships between welsh Labour AM’s and the Trade Union Movement in Wales.

This site will allow members across the length and breadth of Wales to see what types of campaigns that we are undertaking jointly, from improving working rights via the Procurement regulations, or fighting for the Living Wage to become a reality across Wales.

As chair of Wales TULO I look forward to our close relationship continuing to build, in order that we can deliver the types of rights at work that all Trade Unions members deserve.

Mike Payne,
Chair, Wales TULO.
